About Me
I’m a South African-born Financial Professional, widow, breast cancer survivor, and mother of two remarkable daughters. My journey has taken me from elite boarding schools and a thriving finance career to navigating unimaginable personal loss - and ultimately, to a place of purpose and strength.After building a global career in asset management with Investec, I moved to the U.S. to help expand the firm’s presence - and stayed to build a life and family with my husband. But when I lost him to cancer just eight months after his diagnosis, everything changed.Grief became my teacher. I raised our daughters alone, weathering not just the loss of my partner but also the challenges that followed: my oldest daughter’s eating disorder, my own breast cancer diagnosis, and the hard choices required to support my youngest’s passion for competitive horse showing.Six years later, I’ve rebuilt. I now work in customized insurance and focus on helping widows and women in transition protect their financial futures. My story isn’t just about survival - it’s about transformation, resilience, and the fierce belief that women can rise from heartbreak, take control of their lives, and step into what’s next with courage and grace.
